Sally Helwich, Director and General Manager

Sally has devoted her entire working life to the travel industry – that’s over 30 years and counting! Proud to be heading up what has always been a family-run business, there aren’t many people on the Island who have a greater knowledge and insight into what goes into creating an outstanding Isle of Man holiday, short break or event-attached visit. Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, Sally specialises in designing personalised itineraries around group events - running our showpiece Walking event being a classic example.  

Fun Fact – When all the work is done, a delicious meal out accompanied by a quality bottle of red is Sally’s reward.

Judy Arnold, Account Manager and Director

Judy can draw on more than 30 years’ experience in the tourism sector, 20 of which was spent as General Manager of an Isle of Man based Tour Company.

She is a highly valued member of the Isle of Man Events Team - her industry know how and instinctive understanding of what works best for our clients being second to none.  She has been the Chairman of the Island’s Chamber of Commerce Tourism Committee for 10 years and remains a hugely respected member of the Isle of Man visitor industry, often being called upon for her unrivalled knowledge and expertise in tourism matters.

Melissa - Office Manager

Melissa has been with Isle of Man Events since 2018 and is responsible for the day-to-day running of the sales team. Born and raised on the Island, which has clearly spurred a great love of the outdoors (whatever the weather!), she’s in her element creating tailor-made holiday and short break packages for our clients. If you are planning to visit for a walking holiday, look no further than Melissa for all your travel arrangements - it’s her favourite pastime.

Fun Fact – Favourite time of the year Christmas! - Melissa truly believes she is Buddy the Elf.

Poppy - Customer Experience Co-ordinator

Poppy was destined to be part of the Isle of Man Events team. Her parents own a B&B in Douglas and Poppy helped with reservations and welcoming guests - so you are in expert hands. Over the years, she has acquired a wealth of knowledge about Island life, which she is always happy to share. Poppy has a particular penchant for arranging railway-based holiday experiences, so for any train enthusiasts visiting these shores, your specialist organiser awaits.

Fun Fact – Poppy wishes she was a Ballerina.

GrĂ¡inne - Customer Experience Co-ordinator

They don’t come much more Manx than locally born and raised Grainne. Passionate about the Island, she is fluent in the Manx language and is a proud organiser of the Island’s annual national celebration, Tynwald Day. Not surprisingly, she is an invaluable member of our team. If you’d like to arrange an Island visit built around Manx culture, then there is no one better qualified to create a brilliant bespoke package than Grainne.   

Fun Fact – Grainne is our resident thespian who can often be seen treading the boards of the Isle of Man’s Gaiety Theatre.
