Isle of Man Visitor Travel Arrangements Update as of 30th November 2021

Mon, 29 Nov 2021

The Isle of Man has moved to a 'heightened state of awareness' following confirmed cases of the new Covid-19 variant Omicron in the United Kingdom.

From 4am Tuesday 30th November, if you are travelling to the Isle of Man from within the Common Travel Area – regardless of your vaccination status – you will have to undertake a lateral flow test within 12 hours of arrival on the Isle of Man.

You will be required to make a clear statement as to your 'intent' and understanding of this new testing requirement on your landing form.

Meanwhile, all international travellers, who are fully vaccinated, and who are arriving from outside the Common Travel Area, must have a PCR test within 48-hours of arriving on the Isle of Man. You must remain in self-isolation until you have received the result.

For anyone who is not fully vaccinated, they will still be required to undergo the seven-day isolation period.

As always, for any of our clients coming to the Island for a vacation, short break or specific event, at Isle of Man Events we will do our level best to guide you through the various protocols, to ensure your trip can go ahead as planned.

We will, of course, notify you of any further updates but, in the meantime, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us on 01624 664460 or by email info@iomevents.com
