Self Guided

Ensuring your unguided walking holiday stays on the right footing

As long-established, locally based specialists in the hospitality sector, we recognise that many people coming to the Isle of Man prefer to walk under their own steam, independent of any guides. Self-guided walking is extremely popular here.

Even so, many visitors still require assistance with their travel and accommodation. However long you would wish to set aside for your Isle of Man self-guided walking holiday, we specialise in arranging bespoke trips. Let us know your preference and budget and we’ll take care of the rest!

  • Walk hundreds of miles across our wonderful Isle – there’s so much to see and explore.
  • From coastal paths, to glens, sweeping and undulating fells and a friendly welcome along the way, you really will be spoilt for choice – and a world away from all the stresses and strains of daily life
  • Unspoilt, steeped in history and tradition and affording some of the most spectacular countryside anywhere in the British Isles

The Isle of Man is a walking wonderland!

If you like being in nature and appreciate tranquil, scenic settings, we’d thoroughly recommend an Isle of Man self-guided walking holiday or short break.

From Beaches to Mountain Tops

Depending on the length of your stay, you might want to attempt all or part of the The Raad ny Foillan – the 95 mile coastal footpath that circumvents the Island. Or how about hiking up Snaefell – at just over 2000 feet, the Island’s highest point and where, on a clear day, you can see the 7 Kingdoms!

Things to see

  • The world famous Laxey Water Wheel
  • Historic Peel Castle
  • Castle Rushen (a Manx National Heritage Site) – in Castletown, the ancient
  • The Sound and the Calf of Man – beautiful views
  • The panoramic views from the headland at Port Erin

An Island dotted with more than a 1000 years of Celtic history

It’s a walker’s paradise
